ISO 15189:2022 Accredited Medical Laboratory in Phuket
Andalab’s main medical laboratory in Phuket is accredited to ISO 15189:2022 by the Bureau of Laboratory Quality Standards, Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand.
ISO 15189 is an internationally recognised standard that sets requirements for quality management and technical competence in medical laboratories. Andalab’s accreditation applies to the tests and activities included within its approved accreditation scope.

What ISO 15189 Means
ISO 15189 is an international standard developed specifically for medical laboratories.
It sets requirements for quality management and technical competence, including laboratory procedures, personnel, equipment, sample handling, quality control, result reporting and continuous improvement.
Accreditation provides independent confirmation that the laboratory has been assessed against these requirements for the tests and activities included within its approved scope.
